Which myTVS tyre inflator is best for SUVs?
For large SUVs like Fortuner, XUV700 or Scorpio, the TI-18 Air Monster with dual-cylinder technology is the best choice. It generates 150 PSI and fills bigger tyres significantly faster than single-cylinder models. For compact SUVs like Creta or Seltos, the TI-9 Air Thunder (150 PSI, single cylinder) works well too.
What is the difference between analog and digital inflators?
Analog models (TI-15, TI-9, TI-18) have a pressure dial — you watch the gauge and unplug when it reaches your target PSI. Digital models (TI-16, TI-88, TI-86, WT-1) let you set the exact pressure on a screen and the inflator auto-stops when it reaches that level. Digital is more convenient; analog is simpler and more affordable.
Can I use these inflators for bikes and scooters?
Yes. The TI-19 Air Lite is specifically designed for two-wheelers and small cars. It includes an adapter cable to connect to a bike's 12V socket. All other models also come with free nozzle adapters that fit bike and scooter valves.
Do I need to keep the car engine running while using the inflator?
All wired models plug into the car's 12V cigarette lighter socket and work with the engine off. However, for extended use (inflating multiple tyres), keeping the engine on is recommended to avoid draining your car battery. The WT-1 Air Go is wireless with its own battery, so it needs no car power at all.
How long does it take to inflate a completely flat tyre?
A fully flat car tyre (0 to 32 PSI) takes roughly 4-6 minutes with a standard model, and faster with the dual-cylinder TI-18. For routine top-ups (28 to 32 PSI), most models finish in under a minute. Allow 2-3 minutes cool-down between tyres for best performance.
Is there an inflator that also works as a vacuum cleaner?
Yes — the TI-8 Air Dual Pro is a 2-in-1 device. Slide the switch forward and it becomes a car vacuum cleaner with multiple attachments and a washable HEPA filter. Slide it backward and it becomes a tyre inflator. One gadget, two functions.
