Frequently Asked Questions
Can it also be used to jump start the car if the battery has discharged?
No. The battery connector cable provided with the EK-1 is to power these equipments (jack, inflator and impact wrench) from an external power source — it is not a jump-starter. For jumpstarting use our amazing product JS-1, a 3-in-1 Jump-Starter with in-built battery, Automatic Digital Tyre Inflator and 10,000 mAh Mobile Power Bank. Buy the JS-1 here →
How much PSI does the tyre inflator deliver, and does it have an in-built light?
The integrated tyre inflator delivers up to 150 PSI, which covers cars, SUVs and sedans. No — the inflator does not have an in-built light.
What is the jack's lifting capacity — will it lift a heavy SUV?
The electric jack is rated at 3 tonnes (3,000 kg) and lifts from 135 mm to 360 mm, so it comfortably covers hatchbacks, sedans and even large SUVs. A Toyota Fortuner (about 2,095 kg kerb weight), Mahindra XUV700 (about 2,000 kg) and Mahindra Scorpio-N (about 1,885 kg) are all well under 3 tonnes — and since a jack lifts only one corner of the vehicle at a time, the actual load on it is a fraction of the car's total weight.
